Presley Sorah Announces ARCA Menards Series Start at Home Track

Cambridge City, IN, June 17th, 2024 – ARCA Menards Series driver Presley Sorah will compete in his home race, the Circle City 200, on July 19th, 2024, at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park. Sorah will pilot the Fast Track Racing No. 12 Toyota Camry, owned by fellow Indiana native, and 1995 ARCA Menards Series champion, Andy Hillenburg.

Sorah, making his fourth career start in the ARCA Menards Series platform, is ecstatic about the opportunity to race in front of a home state crowd. “Racing at IRP this year has been one of my number one goals for the season. I think it will be a track I can really excel at, and truly show my pace” Presley stated. With three starts under his belt already this season, Fast Track Racing (2) and Clubb Racing Inc. (1), Presley believes he’s well prepared to tackle the opportunity. “With every lap I turn behind the wheel of an ARCA car, my confidence improves tenfold. I’m starting to get really comfortable and familiar with the driving characteristics of the car, and can’t wait to put everything to the test next month in Indy.”

The 20-year-old is no stranger to racing in the Indianapolis area. Sorah won Rookie of the Year in the Indianapolis Soap Box derby at the age of 10, then spent several years racing go karts at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and Indiana State Fairgrounds, and most recently with a pair of starts at Circle City Raceway in 2023. Presley will now elevate it to the national level, competing in front of fellow Hoosiers on July 19th in the ARCA Menards Series.

“I raced late models all throughout Indiana last year, but with ARCA being a traveling series, getting the chance to compete at home is a completely different kind of special. I’ve always been very passionate about where I’m from, because I truly believe Hoosiers are the best race fans of anyone in the country. My idol as a kid was Tony Stewart, largely in part because of his Indiana heritage and ability to race anything on wheels. I hope to follow in his footsteps as I continue my progress up the NASCAR ladder in years to come.”

Sorah’s three ARCA Menards Series starts this season came at Five Flags Speedway, Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, and Iowa Speedway, with a test at Daytona International Speedway in January with Wayne Peterson Motorsports on his resume as well. Having competed on a part time basis in the ARCA Menards Series East this season (3/5 races), Presley currently sits 14th in the series standings.

Presley will represent sponsorship from the Layin Coin Podcast on the lower quarter panel of his #12 machine, as has been the case for his previous starts this year. Associate sponsors include Humms Transport LLC, Maconi Setup Shop LLC, Ripps Design & Photography, Golay Community Center Pickleball, Fudge Foundation, Annabelle's Cakes, and more TBD. Primary sponsorship of the car, and final paint scheme, will be announced at a later date. Partnerships for the race are still welcome, and all interested parties can contact Presley via X, Instagram, and TikTok (@PresleySorah), Facebook (Presley Sorah), or by email at presleysorahracing@gmail.com

Tickets for the Circle City 200 at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park are available for $35 (General Admission) and $45 (Reserved). Live broadcasting of the event will be available on Fox Sports 1, Flo Racing, and the Fox Sports App, with radio streaming on MRN.

Presley Sorah Announces ARCA Menards Series East Debut at Five Flags Speedway

Cambridge City, IN, March 16th, 2024 – Presley Sorah will be making his ARCA Menards Series East debut at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida next Saturday, March 23rd. Sorah will pilot the Fast Track Racing No. 12 Toyota Camry, owned by fellow Indiana native and 1995 ARCA Menards Series champion, Andy Hillenburg.

“Being a professional race car driver has been my lone career aspiration my entire life. I can’t wait to take this massive leap and begin racing nationally in the ARCA Menards Series. I’ve worked extremely hard over the years to create opportunities for myself, and I can’t wait to see some of that pay off next weekend.”

Sorah began racing go karts at just 10 years old. He has most recently competed in the CRA Late Model Sportsman series as well as the Ultimate Heart of America Super Late Model Series, recording a best finish of 8th at Salem Speedway in Salem, IN, on July 22nd, 2023. In January, the 20-year-old also took part in the ARCA Menards Series preseason practice weekend at Daytona, driving the No. 06 Toyota Camry for Wayne Peterson Racing.

Presley continues to have a successful sim racing career on the iRacing platform, stemming back to 2018 in the eNASCAR Ignite Series. He has competed most notably in the Monday Night Racing Pro Series (MNR), an iRacing league composed of motorsports industry members. In 2022, Sorah won the MNR Season 5 championship in his rookie season. Currently, Presley streams part-time on Twitch while competing in iRacing series such as UFL and Elite Racing League.

Andy Hillenburg’s Fast Track Racing competes regularly across the ARCA Menards Series platform. In 2023, Fast Track Racing finished 4th in ARCA Menards Series East championship standings with driver Zachary Tinkle, and 5th in the ARCA Menards Series national points with driver Jon Garrett.

“To make my first career start driving for Andy and the Fast Track Racing team is extremely special,” Sorah stated. “The history of the team speaks for itself, and you’re not going to find many teams as welcoming as Fast Track. It’s a very neat crossover, especially with us both coming from Indiana.” Presley is no stranger to the team, as he competes under the Fast Track banner in sim racing competitions, and even spotted for the team three times throughout the 2023 ARCA Menards Series season.

Presley’s No. 12 car will have Chris Vanscoy as crew chief. It will be sporting primary sponsorship from Otwells Extreme Motorsports (OEM Pensacola), a family owned and operated powersports store based in Pensacola. Tatanka Sauce, rated as one of Food Network's “Best Eats in Delaware” will be featured on the car as well. CFMOTO, a world class motorcycle and off-road vehicle manufacturer with multiple locations worldwide, can also be found on the hood of the car. The back bumper will also sport the OEM Pensacola logo, alongside Bad Boys Mowers, which is located in Batesville, Arkansas, and known for its revolutionizing zero-turn lawn mowers. Long time partner of Presley, the Layin Coin Podcast, will return this year on the rear quarter panel of all of his ARCA Menards Series outings. Additional marketing partners include Running’s Racing Designs and B Blaze Vintage.

Marketing opportunities are still available for Presley’s ARCA Menards Series East debut in the Pensacola 150 next Saturday, and for the remainder of the 2024 season. “I can work with pretty much any budget, especially since we’re only one week from the opening race. We’re going to do the best we can, but additional partners will go a long way towards helping us cover the costs that are necessary in order to complete the full race.

For sponsorship inquiries and more, Presley can be found via X, Instagram, and TikTok (@PresleySorah), Facebook (Presley Sorah), or by email at presleysorahracing@gmail.com.
